Escape to a private mountain retreat for two, or bring the family.  We are a private

mountain retreat nestled on 100 breathtaking acres.  Enter on the front porch with

rocking chair seating and old-fashioned fan to add to the ambience.    

 

  

 

 

Enjoy inside dining with a delicious country breakfast provided each morning.

Outside dining is available, weather permitting.  Hot coffee, tea or cocoa are offered

upon your arrival in the Fall and Winter and iced tea and lemonade in the Spring

and Summer.  All seasons welcome you with pie and/or cookies!

in advance of any dietary restrictions.

 

 

Head up the stairs to the two guest bedrooms and enjoy the library that is available

with seating and a variety of reading materials.  A shared bath is on the second floor. 

Private bath may be available on request.

 

 

Enjoy the view from the front bedroom. The room features an antique Singer

sewing machine, dollhouse, antique dresser and washstand along with a queen

size sleigh bed.

   

 

The quaint back bedroom provides a spectacular view of the mountains as far as the

eye can see.  It has antique dressers and a warm and glowing touch.

    

   

  

 The Carriage House is a second floor, two bedroom, bath, kitchen, living room with a wrap around deck for your viewing pleasure. The Carriage House offers complete privacy.

 

    

 

And our latest addition...

The Hayloft features a two room efficiency with inside porch for dining with a view, as well as an outside private porch. It's a spectacular retreat including bedroom, bath, cathedral ceilings, galley kitchen and a private entrance. 

 

      

 

Experience the quaint town of McConnellsburg, PA located between two

spectacular mountain ridges at the base of the Tuscarora Mountain.

Activities abound in the surrounding mountains.  Attend the Annual

Strawberry Festival held the second weekend in June or the Fall Folk Festival in

October. Enjoy skiing, country auctions, golf, antiquing and flea markets,

dining, fishing, outlets, Berkeley Springs Spa, Potomac  River Activities,

C & O Towpath, hiking & biking, riding and fishing, with warm, friendly people.
